His experience is spread across an entire spectrum of financial functions including SME, corporate finance, and microfinance for a diverse range of bank products. He is also adept at managing microfinance for the development of infrastructure and business in rural areas. He has a B.Sc (Agri) degree from Annamalai University, TamilNadu, a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Annamalai University, TamilNadu, and a CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai.

 Mr. Karthik is a senior industry leader with close to 30 years of experience across the Oil & Gas sector, with deep domain expertise in the Lubricants and LNG value chains. His career spans global corporations and diverse geographies, where he has consistently delivered business transformation, operational scale, and cross-functional excellence.He has led large, multicultural teams and driven strategic initiatives across both developed and emerging markets. His strengths lie in aligning operational efficiency with business growth, delivering impact through a blend of systems thinking and people-first leadership.

Mr. Dharmapuri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and a Global Executive MBA from the prestigious TRIUM program – a collaboration between NYU Stern School of Business, LSE, and HEC Paris. He is also a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), reflecting his command over logistics and operations management.His leadership style is marked by collaboration, sustainability, and inclusivity. Deeply committed to creating positive change, he now brings his global outlook and operational expertise to Varashakti, aligning with the organization’s mission to drive financial inclusion and uplift underserved communities.

Mr. Anantharaman is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with an overall experience of 20 years.

He has worked with organizations such as Indus Towers, Shell, and Fipola. He has wide expertise in auditing, banking, costing, budgeting, fundraising, cost control, reporting and analysis, and statutory Compliance to name a few.

Ms. Poonkuzhali is a dynamic individual qualified in Electronics & Communication and software systems, with 20 years of experience in Information and Communications Technology.

She also holds expertise in network management including web management solutions for a networking domain, DevOps management, cloud migration, and mobile app development.

Mr.Balaji is a qualified Company Secretary and has about 17 year’s experience in heading Secretarial, Compliance & Legal functions of leading companies.

He has handled diverse boards, stakeholders, fund raising, corporate governance initiatives, SEBI, RBI & other regulatory compliances in large listed/unlisted companies.

Mr. Vinodkumar is Management graduate and having 22 years of Banking experience with special focus on   Agri   and   Rural banking.

He has been Expertise in setting up of new business model, Handling large sales force, BCs, rural channel partners and   collection management. Passionate to work in rural India.

Mr. Bagavathiappan is a seasoned BFSI professional with over 23 years of diverse experience across India. His domain expertise spans Retail Liabilities, Retail Asset Products, Credit Risk Control, and Microfinance. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated leadership in building operational frameworks, managing risk, and driving financial inclusion strategies.
He began his professional journey with Standard Chartered Bank, where he was part of the Credit Risk Control team from 2003 to 2007. He then joined HDFC Bank, gaining wide exposure across Retail Liability Operations, Retail Branch Banking, and Microfinance – spending a significant part of his career (13 years) there. He later moved to Belstar Microfinance Limited, where he played a key role in scaling the Business Loan vertical over a five-year period.
Bagavathiappan holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and brings with him deep insights into both individual and corporate banking, with a strong specialization in KYC compliance. His track record of building robust systems and empowering teams reflects his commitment to operational excellence and customer-centricity in the financial services sector.

Mr. Nanda Kumar is a seasoned banker with 22 years of experience in Retail Banking. He has served in companies like SBI Home Finance, Axis Bank Ltd, L&T Housing Finance & Repco Home Finance Ltd handling various retail asset products like Home Loans, Loan Against Property, Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Gold Loans, Loan against Shares & Securities and Loans for LCV’s & LMV’s from time to time.

He has attained MA (Economics) from Annamalai University, MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management (SIMS), Pune & CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.

Ms. Santhy is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 17 years of experience.

She has worked as a banking professional with ICICI Bank Ltd. for about 9 years. Her core areas of expertise are business development, credit underwriting, and portfolio management. She is accomplished in leading, collaborating, managing change, and motivating team members to provide a high level of customer service and business performance.

Mr. N. Ramaswamy is an engineer by education and an HR practitioner by profession.

He brings 26 years of experience across industries like Telecom, Electronics and Banking. He also has a professional interest in psychometric assessment, talent acquisition and professional networking.

Mr. Krishna has more than 18 years of experience in the industries of logistics, port, IT, and manufacturing.

He has been instrumental in the framing and implementation of various HR policies, software systems, and also the Trade Union. He completed his graduation in Economics from D G Vaishnav College and Post-Graduation in HR from Madras School of Social Work.

Mr. Srinivas Krishnaswamy comes with vast experience in investment banking, having had stints in banks and consulting firms. He is an expert in the area of monitoring and evaluation, enterprise and job creation.

He has a keen interest and eye for social impact assessment studies.

Mr. Sathya is an operations specialist with over 10 years of experience in the finance and legal sectors, with a strong focus on process efficiency, service delivery, and scalable solutions. Throughout his career, he has contributed to streamlining operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving digital transformation initiatives. With a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Sathya adopts a data-driven, process-centric approach to operational excellence and change management.Before joining Varashakti as Assistant General Manager – Admin & Operations, he spent eight years at Zolvit, where he played a key role in operational leadership, project execution, and customer journey enhancement.

Sathya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the NIBM Institute. He has also completed a Diploma in Leadership for Self-Transformation from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. His area of expertise is Eliciting requirements, Requirements management and Stake holder Management with multi-vendor coordination across geographies.Over his professional journey he has been associate with prominent organization like Virtusa, Lockheed Martin (USA), Indium Software and National Trust Housing Finance.He has worked in various domains like Banking, NBFC, Insurance, Intellectual Property and E-Commerce.
